6/8 UPDATE: Shipping is finally underway!! Yay!! I know it's about a week past my original shipping estimate, but considering how many setbacks I encountered with this batch (the bank transfer failures and warehouse delay especially) I'm thrilled that the timeline was only off by about 8 days and the bags are on their way to you *almost* on time! Thank you SO much for your patience if you've been patient. You'll be receiving shipping notification emails directly from my fulfillment company (BlackBox) Here are some photos of the bags going out that the warehouse sent me today:
6/5 UPDATE: The bags are still at the warehouse ready to ship -- I'm so sorry for the unexpected delay. Our fulfillment company has everything they need to start shipping the purses. We are not their only customer, however, and their policy is to fully complete one shipment before they start on another. We are next in their queue and ask for just a little more patience while they complete their prior obligation. It really should be any time now! You will receive an email directly from the fulfillment company when your order is ready to ship! Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.
5/25 UPDATE: The bags are at the warehouse ready to ship and the addresses are locked. They will probably begin shipping after the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
5/10 UPDATE: The bags are scheduled to arrive at my warehouse next Tuesday (5/16) so I will be sending out an email requesting final address changes tomorrow. As expected, these bags will be shipping out on schedule very soon! Thank you for your patience!
5/7 UPDATE: The bags are still en route to my fulfillment warehouse. Some of the bags in this shipment had a shipping estimate of "April-May" -- please note that includes the month of May. The bags are still on track to ship by the end of the month, on time. I will be requesting final address updates soon and the bags should still be shipping within the estimated time frame.
4/8 UPDATE: I wasn't able to pay via credit card because my bank kept flagging the payments because they were so large so last Monday I went back to the bank, cleared things up with Bank of America, sent a brand new wire transfer, and it cleared last Wednesday - thank goodness!!! What an incredibly stressful couple of weeks. But the bags have shipped and they are currently en route to my fulfillment warehouse. Phew! Thank you for your patience and understanding!!
3/31 UPDATE: One slight hitch in the proceedings - I went to the bank on 3/20 and made a wire transfer for the balance but today I found out that my manufacturer's bank rejected the transfer because the bank misspelled the company's name. So I am just paying the balance by credit card tonight to speedily get them the money so they can get the bags mailed out ASAP. Normally wire transfers are the better way to go because the fees are more manageable (ie. if I am paying $50,000 for the purses the fee is like $50, whereas when I pay by credit card that fee can be in the hundreds) and the payment is more likely to go through without a hitch (ie. my bank flagging a $50,000 payment lol) I just wanted to let you know since it set shipping back by about 11 days. But ideally you should still be receiving your bags on time since I am running ahead of schedule overall! Thank you for your patience & understanding!
3/20 UPDATE: I just paid the final balance, including shipping, on the bags and they are shipping this week! I'll be sending out an email to lock addresses in about a month or so.
3/13 UPDATE: Production is complete and the bags are about to ship to my fulfillment warehouse!
2/1 UPDATE: Sorry for the delay in getting updates posted! I moved into a new house at the end of November and have been a little scatterbrained during moving/the holidays/having another full time job/also running this store. But rest assured, production is almost complete and I am hoping to be receiving a shipping quote from my manufacturer any time now. My manufacturer is combining shipping on orders placed from November - the first week of January since production moved faster than expected, so I will let you know as soon as the bags have shipped and are on their way to my warehouse. 12/1 UPDATE: Thank you so much for your order! Tomorrow I will be submitting the order to my manufacturer. I will keep you posted on the production process along the way!
I also just want to address a common question I've been getting -- if you already placed a pre-order you cannot change the color or style of bag after production has started. My entire production line is based on pre-orders so your bag is custom made *just for you* once you pre-order it. I don't have any wiggle room for anyone to change their choice later. I'm very sorry if I come out with any new colors or designs that you prefer, but I desperately hope you understand how the orders are kind of locked in once I pay my manufacturer to make them.
