2026 Pre-Sale Details

In March I surveyed my subscribers to see if there would be any interest in doing one more purse pre-sale. There was just enough that I feel confident in doing one more sale. The whole reason I had to stop offering these in the first place was because I was no longer selling enough bags to meet my manufacturer minimum order quantities. I need to sell at least 25 of each color/design for production. I'll be posting updates on this page to let you know if I have met the minimums for the purses to be produced, as well as updates about production if/when I'm able to actually make this batch of bags.

The purse designs are the same as before, but I have made a few updates to what you will be receiving when you order. Each bag will come with TWO straps - one 56" long strap and one 70" long strap. The bags will also come with a Certificate of Authenticity, hand-signed by me. If you are making a purchase during this particular pre-sale, I feel like you must be aware of my struggle with knock-offs and you made a conscious decision to support the original designer. So I want you to have something that adds an extra level of legitimacy to your purchase. 

The price has been raised slightly to reflect cost increases in my supplies since my last sale. Again, I know that you can get counterfeit bags that look like mine for a lot cheaper now, so it's risky to raise the price. But those sellers are getting massive quantity discounts (or are selling directly from the manufacturer) and using poor quality materials. I put a lot of care into the quality and packaging of each bag and I think my price reflects that.

I may revisit the purses again on an annual basis if this sale goes well, but this will be the last opportunity to purchase my purse designs in 2026. Thank you so much for your support! xo Kate

Purse pre-sale timeline

The pre-sale will last for three days. When the sale is closed, I will submit the order to my manufacturer. The process of submitting the order and payment takes approximately one week. Production will then begin around April 20th. Production usually takes somewhere between 1-2 months, at which point the purses are mailed to me and usually take another month to arrive. I will be hand-packing every purse entirely on my own, so please keep that in mind if you are getting anxious about your order shipping. I will go as fast as I can, but it's just me. I expect to begin shipping the bags out sometime in July and hope to complete them as fast as possible. I will be posting updates on this page and sending out a bi-weekly email with production updates to keep you informed throughout the process 💕

April 8, 2026 I am preparing for the pre-sale to launch on April 9th and run through April 11th with shipping beginning in July.

April 10, 2026 All of the purse designs and colors have reached the minimum order threshold! YAYYY!!!! So they will definitely be produced! Thank you so much!!

I just closed orders for the pre-sale! Thank you so much to everyone who purchased a bag! I will be submitting the order to my manufacturer in the morning and I'll send out my first update with some details about the timeline and frequently asked questions tomorrow afternoon. April 12, 2026 I just sent out a purse pre-sale update via email to everyone who purchased a bag and/or purse riser during the pre-sale. If you didn't receive it be sure to check your spam folder! If it's still not there you can reach out at kategabriellepurses@gmail.com to confirm that we have the correct email address on file for you! Please include your name and order number in the email.

I also made a free printable card that you can download as a placeholder if you are giving someone a purse as a gift before it arrives later this summer. You can download that right here :)

April 16, 2026 I just paid the deposit for production! Yay!

April 20, 2026 My manufacturer just confirmed they received the deposit so production began today! Right on schedule! :)

April 25, 2026 I just sent out the first of my bi-weekly purse pre-sale updates via email! Also, Arrietty had her cardiologist appointment yesterday and she is perfectly fine! Thank you so much to everyone who supported this sale for helping me get her to a specialist. You paid for her visit and I cannot even begin to express the peace of mind & relief I feel knowing that her little heart is all good! ❤️

May 8, 2026 I just sent out the second bi-weekly purse pre-sale update via email! My manufacturer is still working on the bags. In the meantime I've been busy getting things ready on my end! I have been printing and signing my certificates of authenticity. I designed the keychain that will come with the bags (if you want a sneak peek you can click here!) And I'm in the process of making my little packets that will go in every box, which includes a sticker, care instructions, and a thank you note. I'll also be putting the COAs in there when I pack each order. My goal is to have everything ready to go so when the purses arrive all I have to do is pack them up and mail them out to you! :)

May 16, 2026 My manufacturer sent me a photo of a bunch of cut purse pieces ready to be sewn into bags!

May 25, 2026 The charms for the bags have been completed and shipped, but my purse manufacturer said they are running behind and expect to ship around June 15th (previously I thought they would be shipping around May 20th 🫠) My shipping would still be on track for July since my estimate accounted for some delays in production and shipping, but I had really hoped I'd be able to start shipping them sooner than that. A little bummed about this development but I'm still trying to get everything else prepared ahead of time so once the bags arrive it's easy for me to start mailing them out quickly.

May 26, 2026 I just sent out my third bi-weekly update via email (a little bit late since I was in Chicago visiting my brother last week for his birthday!) Even though the production is running behind I am still anticipating that I will be able to ship on time. I asked my manufacturer if I could pay my shipping & balance early instead of waiting for production to finish, and I was able to pay the invoice last night! I pay by wire transfer which can take a week to clear the bank, so paying early means the bags will now be able to ship AS SOON as they are done! :)

June 13, 2026 I just sent out my fourth bi-weekly update via email. The bags are… still in production. In May my manufacturer said that she anticipated that they would be shipping on June 15th, so I went ahead and paid the balance, which cleared the bank about 10 days ago. Since the 15th is fast approaching I checked in with her again to make sure things were still on track and she said shipping was bumped back, yet again, to the end of June 🫠😩😵

August 7, 2026 I packed up another 87 orders today!! Which means I am 62% finished packing purse orders! USPS never came to pick up the orders I had packed up on Wednesday so I'm hoping VERY BADLY that they show up tomorrow because I'm running out of room to move in the garage right now. I'll keep you posted!

August 8, 2026 I packed up another 89 orders today! Unfortunately the mailman never came to pick up my packages again. This is the second time in a row I scheduled a pickup and they didn't ring the doorbell. I am really hoping they come on Monday!! I am pretty much out of room for packed purses in the garage, so for tonight and tomorrow I'm going to prep bags and put them back in the POD so they're ready to just drop in boxes on Monday. Send me good USPS vibes!! ✨

August 10, 2026 Today was a little bit stressful. USPS didn't come AGAIN. Normally I choose their free pickup option, which means they pick up your packages at the same time that they deliver your mail. Since they didn't come twice in a row I decided to pay for the scheduled pickup option and they STILL did not come. I have no idea what's going on. Me and my dad are going to go to the post office tomorrow to ask in person if they can come out, because the pickup request page doesn't have any kind of contact information if you have an issue.

Also. I've gone through every box now and I am, indeed, two short on my purse risers ☹️ If anyone ordered one (or two!) and your order hasn't shipped yet but you'd be willing to either cancel your riser or wait a little extra in exchange for some free goodies, please reach out at kategabriellepurses@gmail.com! If I haven't heard from anyone by tonight I'll send out an email to ask. 

Despite these two setbacks, I did finish packing up another 108 orders today and I only have 83 left to go!! If USPS would clear out the mountains of packages that I have surrounding me in my garage it would make the last leg of this process a whole lot easier lol. Right now I'm walking the packages over to the POD which is adding extra time to each order (and it's not super fun leaving the sweet spot I created where I have oscillating fans directed at me from three different angles to go walk into the hot POD 😂) All in all, even if I need to add in that extra step I still anticipate finishing packing orders within the next couple days! Please keep in mind if you received a notification that your order shipped it only means I printed the label. Since USPS hasn't picked up any of my packages since last Wednesday I have an awful lot of orders where the labels were created but USPS hasn't scanned them in yet (because they are still in my garage!) I'm really trying to get them on their way to you and hopefully they'll finally be in the post office's hands VERY soon! Fingers crossed!!!

August 11, 2026 Guess what? The post office finally came today!!!!! I had been inside eating lunch, and when I went back in the garage somebody popped up from behind my mountain of boxes and said hello to me. I was so confused and said hello back (but was thinking "who is this random person in our garage??") and then it dawned on me that it was the mail carrier, and he was already loading my boxes into the truck!! Me and my dad went out and helped him with the rest, and the relief I felt seeing the truck FINALLY full of all of the bags that I packed over the last week - I don't know if anything can compare to that feeling lol! 

The mail carrier said that he would come back tomorrow so hopefully there won't be any issues with my pickup tomorrow. After he left, I finished all but 15 orders!! Somehow I miscalculated how many boxes I needed so I quickly ordered some more (sidenote - I hate that boxes online all come in packs of like 25 or 50 because sometimes you just need, say, seven, and end up with so many extra!) which are coming on Thursday. So on Thursday I will pack up those last 15 orders and I will be all done!!!! WOO HOO!!

Also a huge thank you to everyone who offered to skip or wait for their purse risers after I asked about it yesterday! I'll be honest -- some of my pre-sales in the past were hard on me customer-service-wise. My regular customer base is overwhelmingly kind and sweet, but going viral meant that the algorithm was also feeding my content to potential customers who were sometimes ... not quite as kind and sweet lol. You have been SO patient and lovely and generous to me (an extra thank you to my patreon supporter who venmoed me to buy dinner while I was packing orders last week!!!) and it's made this pre-sale the most pleasant one that I've ever experienced. I honestly cannot believe how nice your messages have been - both in your order notes and your replies to my e-mail updates. It's just been an incredibly wonderful experience on my end, and I can't thank you enough for your generosity and willingness to wait so long to receive a bag from me. I feel so lucky 🥰

August 12, 2026 USPS didn't come for the pickup again today 🫠 Hoping for better luck tomorrow!!

August 13, 2026 Me and my dad went ahead and took two carloads full of purses to the post office this afternoon and then like 15 minutes after we got home USPS came for the pickup lol! It was the nice mail carrier that I had the first two days that I was shipping orders and I was so grateful to see her again - she was so helpful and kind and said she'll be back to pick up the last remaining bags tomorrow night!

The boxes that I needed to finish packing orders came about 10 minutes ago so by the time I go to sleep tonight, bag packing will officially be done!! 🥳
